Join us for a unique Ceremonial Drum Birthing experience set in enchanting lands on near Ludlow on the Welsh / Herefordshire Border where Red kites and buzzards soar above, and fallow deer wander freely. Our day will commence at 10 am and conclude around 7:30 pm, immersed in deep ceremony and ritual as we honor the arrival of your Drum earthside, each one manifesting their distinct spirit and medicine that naturally emerges during the birthing process.
Creating your own drum is an immensely powerful journey, often regarded as an opportunity to redefine your personal birth narrative. During Ostara, the Spring Equinox, when daylight graces the land once more, it is the most divine time to embrace the cyclical energies of rebirth within your drums.
I am delighted to announce that the wonderful Chris Berman will be joining us to co-facilitate this event.
Chris is a very dear friend of mine & someone who stirs me with such wonder and delight. He is one of the very few people who I can honestly say I trust implicitly to hold space alongside me. He is an incredibly beautiful human & I am so excited for you to meet him and experience his deep wisdom and knowledge.
Chris will be flying in from Montana to join us and will be weaving his own delectable magic into our ceremony. He brings with him a wealth of experience as Men’s Group Leader, River and wilderness guide, and has a glorious way of being a link to bring people back into their truth & their hearts. Alongside all of this Chris is a gifted counsellor, artist, photographer and musician, with his own unique vibration that originates straight from his soul and is rooted in a rare depth of listening and connection to the wild.
There is something exquisite when the masculine and feminine join to hold space and in drum birthing this feels even more powerful. The drum and the beater often are seen as representing the union of these two energies, so it feels a real gift, in so many ways Chris will be joining us for this ceremony.
It will be utterly divine.
Our day will include
Deep ceremony and ritual to honor the hide & hoop , to awaken the Drum Maker that lives deep in your bones & connect you to the voice of the Hide.
14 inch hoop and choice of deer Hides.
You will connect to the wooden hoop and enter into conversations exploring the meanings and messages to understand the roots of your drum. You may wish to paint or fire etch your the inside of your hoop with invocations or art
You can also explore the designs you wish to incorporate in the lacings on the back on your drum and also any feathers, bones or crystals that you may which to add.
Care instructions on how to look after your Drum & advice on awakening the drum
snacks throughout the day and tea, coffee etc. please bring a sharing dish for lunch and dinner.
As our day together ends we will Journey to welcome the Spirit of your Drum onto these timelines and discover what medicine and message they bring forth into this world and deepened your bonds to one and another.
