Weaver of Dark and Light Spirit Doll
This beautiful needle felted Spirit Doll meandered into being as I sat under the boughs of a beloved Grandmother Apple tree, in between the rainstorms as I threaded plump red Rowan berries onto red cords for autumnal garlands.
She measures about 18cm tall and is made from 100% Wool, Plant Kin and ethically sourced bones, feathers and a Stoat tail.
you can read about her magic below.

Her arrival was quite unexpected, but her purpose perhaps not so, as she whispered her messages into my heart, insistingly asking me to gather up some of the Kin surrounding us to be weaved into the medicine Bundle that sits at her centre.
In her medicine bundle she holds:
a dried leaf from the Oak tree across the road where the Tawny Owl lives and where the Crows gather when times of change or transitions are being spoken across the horizons. Whenever I look upon an Oak tree I am always drawn to the places beneath my feet, knowing that what I see above is replicated below, that these great Ancestors of our lands hold the ancient wisdom, how they are deeply rooted in to the depths of Mama Earth, connected, anchored, holding the past present and future.
3 Rowan berries and a further 3 tried around her neck, gathered from a the Grandmother Rowan Trees I often find myself in Council with, atop of a great Waterfall, where Dragons circle overhead. Rowan Trees or Mountain Ash has such divine mythology. Often found where there are burial Chambers or stone circles, a nod to the deep and extensive protective powers of these trees. And usually found on high ground , they also have this powerful enchantress way that sings in my bone of portal places full of magic.
Calendula petals, collected form my garden and gently dried, offering a heart of warmth and fire to bring light into darker days and also a powerful Kin for divination, dream work and prophecy.
Hawthorn Leaves, gathered from the hedgerows that gather around me and gently dried. Known as the Fairy Tree who guardians are Fae, this powerful ancient Grandmother offer us doorways into the Underworld places and reminds us to let go of attachment to outcomes. She brings Love, cleansing the heart of negativity, surrounds you with protection and invites you in to the present.
Around her nect she has 3 Rowan Berries, a Bone staff topped with Woodpecker feather, collected from my garden and to her back she has a weasel tail, weaving their energies and gift into this magical Spirit Doll.
Woodpeckers bring threads of new opportunities, of balance, self-actualisation, protection and discernment, They are the ones who knock messages on trees so their echo is sent though the all of creation – I wonder what messages are being held here for you?
Stoats are the bringers of wisdom and closely associated with Transformation who possess the ability to see into the future, thus holding the knowledge of all things. They are Shapeshifters who are the protectors of the natural worlds – a courageous and strong one, who also brings a slight trickster energy.
And lastly she is filled with the intention for shedding, for letting go and composting and for finding the threads that glisten and glow in the darkness, for planting the seeds and allowing them to germinate, ready for them to reach for the sunlight as the spring returns.
She is holding out a beautiful invitation for you to slow down, to sink the unfolding of the darker days, to taste your shadow…. Ummm, she is a powerful Spirit Doll to journey with, to dream with into the slowness of winter and one who will help you to nurture your dreams, your desires, your longings and your love through the dark slow months ahead.
She is made with 100% wool, hand felted with much love and intention, the Stoat Tail and bones are both ethically sourced from the Forest Witch6 and the Feathers were hand collected from my garden.
She £92.00 plus p&P – Kerb side collection is available if you are local to me.
Much Love, Louise
